How to become an elementary teacher in the state of Arkansas?
I have not been to college YET and I am thinking about becoming an elementary school teacher. My local college offers the associate degree...but don't I need a bachelor's? Can you tell me eveything that is needed?

All states require a BS or BA in a teacher education program. You are also going to have a background check including fingerprints and a TB test.
Some states let you substitute teach with a 2 year degree, Some don't.
Call your state Board of Education. They can tell you better than anyone here.
