Procter & Gamble's headquarters is in Cincinnati and the company made a $10,000 contribution to a group that was pushing for the repeal of an anti-gay law that forbade the city from providing protected status to persons "because of homosexual, lesbian, or bisexual orientation." Procter & Gamble said that its support of the repeal was not a vote for homosexuality, but against discrimination, and the law was repealed by voters in 2004. The recording at this phone number says that their operating hours are from 9am to 6pm EST and to stay on the line if needing medical assistance involving the use of one of their products (after getting through after several attempts).

They're so stressed they feel compelled to torture thousands of animals in toxicity tests? That's a disadvantage.
