If I choose to surrender my Green Card, is there any way that in the later time want it back or re-apply one?

Update:

Since I am coming back to US for about six months for several years, is there any chance that I will be asked to surrender my Green Card at point of entry?

If you surrender your green card you will have to apply again from the beginning. Your previous surrender will be counted against you at that point. It's unlikely you will ever get another.

Yes, but you will have to go to the back of the line, why would you want to do that

You can always reapply. However, there is a huge line and you would be starting over.
