人體的水份,經由腎臟、腸道、肺、淚液、口鼻分泌、性分泌、乳汁、嘔吐及糞尿等排泄於體外。各器官的排泄量,與年齡的大小沒有關係。正常的腎臟消耗的水分約占百分之六十,腸約占百分之二至六,肺和皮膚占百分之二十五至三十三。

人體既然消耗這樣多的水,那麼水在人體內有什麼功用呢?現在分別介紹於下:
