Try damp with a steam iron, or most irons also have a spray nozzle. Hang up the shirt to dry from the steam ironing. Dry is boring because it takes way too long to get all the wrinkles out..

For a really, really, professional finish on all ironing, treat yourself to a fastpress iron and a spray bottle with water, and your shirts etc will look as thought they have just come from the dry cleaners/laundry.But to answer your questrion i would iron whilst still damp, or if it has happened to dry give it a good spray all over and then iron.

Hi there, I agree with the other two people , Iron damp if possible, if you iron it dry then you should use a spray starch and it gets it nice and crisp , also gives it lots of body to the shirt. I hope this helps.

Ironing a 100 percent cotton shirt while it is damp will make ironing much easier.
