I'll bet if you could ask the bird which cage it would like best, it would say none of them. If I decided to imprison you for the rest of your life, which type of cell would you prefer? Not trying to be snyde, but I hope you seriously consider what would be best for this creature who is designed for free flight. There is no difference between keeping a bird in a cage (or even just in a house), and locking a person up in a cell for no other reason then to entertain the guards. Will you be clipping the wings? How would you like to have your feet disabled so that you could not go far on your own? Again, I'm not trying to berate you or make you feel bad, I just really feel strongly that no birds should ever be kept from their natural habitats, doing what they were designed to do. Also consider that many birds mate for life, and feel strong connections to their bird family. Birds that are either taken from their natural habitats (and their spouses at the same time), or raised in captivity, will never be as happy or content as they would be if we let them live their life on their terms. I hope you truly consider these thoughts, and no matter your decision, I wish you luck.
