    Boyles:

    p1V1 = p2V2

    where p = pressure & V = vol

    Charles:

    V1/T1 = V2/T2

    where V= vol T= Temp (K)

    Charles' Law

    If Pressure is held constant then

    V/T = constant

    Boyle's Law

    If Temperature is held constant then

    P*V = constant

    This means you can write P1V1 = P2V2 or P1/T1 = P2/T2 because of the two laws above.
