Uninstalling Internet Explorer and reinstalling it -how?

So - I'm cluessless when it comes to my computer. Now that that's out of the way, I have a question. I have some kind of spyware on my computer that no Antispyware can seem to get rid of. (I've tried ~everything~). Someone recommended uninstalling Internet Explorer - but after you do that, how to 'reinstall' it if you don't have acess to the internet? Someone please help me in lamens terms, lol.

Uninstalling IE won't help solve your spyware problems, when you say you have tried everything I'm sure there is something you have missed.

There are types of spyware that require additional tools besides the usual antispyware programs that most of us use

One tool for example is HijackThis which is a great tool in getting rid of stubborn spyware

If you have yet to try it I would recommend that you do prior to resorting to getting rid of IE, which wouldn't really matter if you uninstall and reinstalled if you still have the spyware problems

    Here's the links for hijackthis

    HijackThis 2.0.2

If you have already uninstalled Internet Explorer, and you want to reinstall it. You need to go to Start>Control Panel> Add or Remove Programs> left-click on Add or Remove Windows Components (should be on the left side) click the check box next to Internet explorer. then hit <ok> ( this might require a restart)

    Sorry about my English.

If you're on Windows XP, Go to control panel then open add or remove programs. Since Internet Explorer is Windows XP's component, click Add/Remove Windows Components. Then you will see the Windows Component Wizard is opened. Uncheck the internet explorer then click next and finish. The Internet Explorer is now no longer exist. Do the same thing to install the Internet Explorer by marking check the Internet Explorer.

If you have the Original Window disc or a copy of it on your computer. ( It is a good Idea to copy it to your computer if you haven't because then anytime you need something from the cd it 's automatically there.) you need to goto the Control Panel and select Add/Remove Programs. then when that window opens, click on Add/Remove Windows Compnent. It will be in that list. Check the box for Internet Explorer and say next. It will prompt for CD and you're done.

Download a fresh copy of IE (version 7 ONLY if you have Vista, otherwise use version 6) and burn this to a CD. Then you can uninstall and reinstall from the CD.

This will work IF its IE that's corrupted. Otherwise, you may need to backup your files, wipe the hard drive and reinstall Windows and all your software.

Internet Explorer is PART of Windows. You MAY be able to download IE separately from the MS site and reinstall - but I dont' believe you'll be able to delete it from Windows.

You might try the Help button on Internet Explorer as it may have a link there for you.

You cannot uninstall Internet Explorer from your windows but you can update it by installing new version of Internet explorer. This is the only thing we can do.
