It has to do with the meaning of the words in the English language.

In U.S. law, an alien is a person who owes political allegiance to another country or government and not a native or naturalized citizen of the land where they are found.[1] Types of "alien" persons are:

 An alien who is legally permitted to remain in a country which is foreign to him or her. On specified terms, this kind of alien may be called a legal alien of that country.

 An alien who has temporary or permanent residence in a country (which is foreign to him/her) may be called a resident alien of that country.

 A visitor with the legal right to visit a country (which is foreign to him/her) may be called a nonresident alien of that country.

The term illegal alien commonly refers to a foreign national who resides in another country unlawfully, either by entering that country at a place other than a designated port-of-entry or as result of the expiration of a non-immigrant visa. The important distinction is that this person intends to remain in the country indefinitely.

To me immigrant implies legal status. I will NEVER call a person an immigrant that is not recognized by my government as an immigrant. To be an immigrant you must have an immigrant visa.

I don't know if you are sexy or not.

I do know that the term "alien" is a legal term used in international and national law by ALL countries on the planet. Sorry that you were unaware of this. If someone is here illegally or in any country illegally they're are an:

    Illegal Alien

I know you open borders folks hate facts and legal terms so I will make an accommodation for your unwillingness to accept reality. That means I will ignore you and continue following legal and international norms and call illegal aliens illegal aliens, cool?

Today the preferred term by the politically correct is illegal immigrant because the word alien has become unpopular.

5.) An enemy alien is an alien who is designated as an enemy; compare to enemy combatant.

    Sexy Mama

Why do you care so much what people have to say on the Internet? Like I stated before, half of the people on here are probably young and uneducated.

The term 'alien' refers to the fact that these people are NOT CITIZENS of this country.

The term 'illegal' refers to the fact that these aliens are here illegally.

The term 'illegal alien' then refers to a person who is not a citizen of this country and who is here illegally.

Actually... you're showing how much you're affected by what other people (the liberal media) tell you.

Look up the word "Alien." A simple trip through the dictionary should help you with this.

    Warm regards,
