This is not a good idea. Either buy a car with fewer miles or a better car with similar miles. The Cadillac brand is not known for longevity (to this extreme) and repairs/replacement parts will be costly. It is a far safer bet to buy a Toyota or Honda with 138k miles. An even better bet is to buy a far less luxurious vehicle that is far newer.

I've had 4 cadillacs.....(1 eldorado and 3 coupe de villes)

From what i hear about STS's...if your gonna buy one you better get a "bumber to bumper" warranty with it or don't buy it at all....they are somewhat problematic cars even though they are luxurious....As for one with all that mileage?....Trust me, steer clear of it....All your doing is buying someone else's problem which is now yours.

    Good luck...Caddy's rule!
