Careers in Mathematics?

I'm looking for ideas of jobs that I could have with a degree in Mathematics...

I dont want to do teaching or anything like that... I'm not trying to do the business end of it either (like finance or economics)

I want to sit in an office building all day and do long mathematical equations... figuring things out...

Any ideas? Jobs like this? Working for people like the government or NASA?

Thanks!

Yeah, you got the picture. Find an FFRDC that does what you want. FFRDC is a federally funded research and development center that gets funding from the government to do whatever. These companies do a lot of research. Names include MITRE, The Aerospace Corporation, Internal Revenue Service , etc. You can also go to national labs, "think tanks" etc.

Lists are posted in links below.
