For example Gian Galeazzo Visconti, died in 1402, Duke of Milan and the most powerfull lord of Italy of its age, and maybe more powerfull than many Kings.

In France was King Charles VI , the "Fool".

very interesting person living in 1400 was "Fiore de Liberi "from Cividale del Friuli, the first to write a book about finghing and about martial arts , the famous "Flos Duellatorum".Another curiosity is that was living Francesco Datini, a famous Merchant of his era, with affiliates in whole Europe, but situated in Prato, near Florence. He died in 1410. Francesco Datini is famous as "Inventor" of the Bank Cheque, of Letter of Credit, and of modern accounting system.
