Rotation - you mean of the Earth?

Rotation of the Earth gives us day and night - without rotation a day would be a year long (as the Earth moves around the sun, if it didn't rotate then the only way the sun would move in the sky would be due to the Earth's orbit).

Which rotation do you have in mind? If you spin like a top, you can get vertigo as your inner ears try to make sense of what is going on. If you live on the seacoast, you can see the tides. And of course there is sunrise and sunset. Rotation of the galaxy, however, has no everyday effects.

If you stand in one spot and spin around fast, you will get dizzy. But if you go r.e..a...l..l.y s.l..o.w, then you will not get so dizzy.
