Not as a foundation - it won't have any coverage, but you can certainly wear it on it's own. It will be like using a normal pressed powder, great for a matte, finished look. If you are trying to hide some imperfections, put on the normal foundation first, if you don't have any, just put on the MV and go.Source(s): make up artist.

umm no.....mineral veil is like normal pressed powder you would need to get the mineral foundation..then use the mineral veil (pressed powder) to set it!

Yes! Obviously it won't cover blemishes, but it will tone down the shine and give you sunscreen protection.
