    I've been all over Britain and I suppose it's what you're after.

    I think for shops & entertainment then London can't be beaten.

    For History and culture then you have to go for York

    The award I will term as ' The best atmosphere when you're walking round the city' goes to Edinburgh.

    The worst city, by the way - on all 3 counts is Hull. It's the pits!!

    beautiful city, easy 2 pull there (and the guys are quite fit), good laugh, etc
