Taxes are far too high in the U.S. for practically anyone who works for a living, so yes.

No, basically because what everyone else said. What the US government should be doing (and will eventually have to do in the fairly near future) is RAISE taxes. Unless, as others pointed out that we reduce services or become a lot more productive with less government spending. What you obviously don't understand is that less taxes = less income for the government, which means they either have to borrow it or spend less. The national debt is already quite large and you are seeing those effects in a weaker and weaker dollar. Maybe you don't care that you hard earned US dollar buys you less Chinese made stuff at Wal-Mart, but many people do. So try and understand this better, and get used to the idea that taxes in the US over the next 10-15 years are only going to go up, never down.

If you cut taxes, you'll have to either go into debt or cut services. With the national debt where it is now (largely held by China) any further tax cuts would be extremely irresponsible.

Taxes in the US are actually some of the lowest in the industrialized world. Europeans pay FAR higher taxes than we do -- over $3.00 per gallon TAX on gasoline and pump prices between $6.00 and $7.00 per gallon and sales taxes averaging 20%.

If everyone gets a tax cut, then spending would have to be cut substantially, or else the national debt would rise even faster than it is now.
