How to fix a white (stuck?) pixel on an LCD monitor?

Well, I have a Samsung 940MW LCD TV monitor. My problem is that when I use it as an HD TV with my Xbox 360 in 1080i, there is a white pixel which appears only against a dark enough background. My problem is that when I use it as an HD TV with my Xbox 360 in 1080i, there is a white pixel which appears only against a dark enough background. The thing is, there are no pixel problems when the screen is being used with the PC. I also switched the 360 to Standard TV mode (ie non-HD) and the white pixel is nowhere to be found. It's the same case for running it 720p... Obviously, I'd much rather play in 1080i. I've never heard of a problem like this before and I haven't been able to correct the pixel using any of the techniques I've researched.
Also, there is sometimes a green stuck pixel which appears but I can get rid of this by turning the monitor and 360 off at the same time.... I'm not sure if that's what's actually causing it to disappear, but it seems to work. Anyway, this white pixel is annoying me greatly and all help is appreciated!
