    50 (assuming you can't pair it with itself) and 100.

    The only thing you can add to 50 to get 100 is 50. If you can't pair 50 with itself, then you can't get 100.

    The only thing you can add to 100 to get to 100 is 0, and 0 is not included in 1 to 100.
