The first ten days are of mercy, second ten days are of forgiveness and the last ten days are of being freed from Hell.

FIRST ASHRA (first ten days [1-10]):

The first ten days of the Blessed Month of Ramadan are the days of Mercy. We should seek Allah's Mercy in these days.

Rab-bigh-fir war-ham wa Anta Khair-ur-Raahimeen. (Surah Al Muminun:118)

Ya Rabb, Allahumma arhamni Ya Arham-mar-Rahimeen.

Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyumu Birahmatika asta-ghee-thu

SECOND ASHRA (second ten days [11-20]):

The second ten days of Ramadan are the days of Forgiveness, Seek Allah's forgiveness and repent for all sins.

Allahum-magh-fir-li dhunoobi Ya Rabbal Alameen

Rabbana Fagh-fir-lana dhunoobana wa kaf-fir-'anna sayyi-aatina wa ta-waf-fana ma-'al abraar. (Surah Al-Imran:193)

THIRD /LAst ASHRA (last ten days [21-30]):

The last days of Ramadan are to seek Refuge in Allah from the Hellfire.

Allahumma Ajirna min-an-naar.

Well during the suhoor u should recite " ya wasial magfirah"
and during the day u can recite "Allahuma arhamni ya ar hamar rahimeen".....also you should very much recite "La ilaha illalahu nastigfirullah nas aluka al jannati wa nauzibika min an naar"

its NOTHING wrong to recite the yasin before iftaar, it all depends on you. and NO ur NOT comitting any bida'at.

May you have a blessed ramadan :)

1st 10ramadan - kalma taiyabbah as many times as you can(this is for rehmat)
    11th-20th ramadan - astagfirullah ( for maghfirat)
21st - 30th ramadan - allahhuma ajarni minnannari ( for jannat ki talab & jehannum se nijadh)

Also,on mijla roza i.e. 14th Ramadan before aftar read dua-e- jamila if you have it with you.

To recite, isn't duah but zikr.
to ask , this is duah, ask what ever you wish for, Halaal.
Do easy zikr, that will stay in practice even after Ramadaan.

There's no such a thing as a special du'a, unless you're think about.. "Allahumma innaka 'afuwon tuhibbu'l afwa fa'fu anni" (means, Allah you are all-forgiving, love to forgive, so forgive me) The prophet (salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam) told Aysha (his wife, may Allah be pleased with her) to say this in Ramadan. But, other than that,I advise you to ask Allah something you understand in your own language, better than reading something you don't understand or won't really feel or mean.

However, I'm worried about "yasin sharif"... there's no such a thing. Qur'an is Qur'an and there's no Hadeeth that says Yasin is special. One Hadeeth was lied on the behalf of the prophet (PBUH). So, be careful! Bid'a is in Jahannam, like the prophet (PBUH) said. May Allah save us and give us shelter from His punishment.

May Allah accept our deeds. Salam...
