    Five kids, only four accounts? Which kid got nothing?

    0, 25, 75, 156, 215

    Median = $75

    Mean = $94.20

    arrange the numbers in order the median is the middle number if you have an odd number of values. Since you had an even number of accounts and you want the average of the accounts, you would average the middle two values. (75+156)/2

    25, 75, 156, 215

    The mean is simply the average. That is found by adding the four values and dividing by 4.

    I will leave that to you to do the arithmetic.

    The median is 115.50 and the mean is 117.75 for the information given

    Unless you figure that one has 0.00 in one of the accounts then the median is 75 and the mean is 94.2
