If you are concerned about giving vaccines to your child at all, please read Dr. Stephanie Cave's book "What your doctor may have not told you about vaccines". Also read David Kirby's "Evidence of Harm" and Dr. Jepsen's "Changing the Course of Autism" (he discusses most of the "research" and the inacccuracies.
For me, I know for a fact that vaccines injured my children and caused it in my oldest (who is more severe than my younger and I believe because I stopped vaccines in my youngest at the first sign of trouble). My son developed these strange bumps on his arms after the MMR. The day after his DTaP and Polio (which was given in the evening), the signs of Autism started. I believe that the triggers may be different for different people, and there is regressive (my son's type) and classic Autism.
If you have any concerns, please read up, do some research, and don't let people make you feel guilty for not vaccinating if you truly don't believe it's in the best interest of your child. Dr. Cave's book does allow for vaccinations, but on a more lenient schedule (like waiting until the baby's immunity is more established) and only giving one at a time and separating out boosters (just think, if you give DTaP and MMR at one time, it's only 2 shots but 6 viruses going into that tiny baby)
