What do you mean by: Blushing is a color of virtue?

It means if you make a vulgar remark, and the person blushes, it's because they are virtuous. Vulgar talk or behavior embarrasses them because they have a higher moral standard and/or have never been exposed to such behavior.

blushing shows a certain naivety and shyness which is why it could be suggested as the colour of virtue

it refers to the fact that if a person blushes, it indicates innocence or inexperience with regard to the subject causing the blushing to occur in that person.
