Can laptops charge mp3 players?

are you able to do that?? i'm thinking about getting a laptop and i want to know it i'll be able to charge my mp3 player. u have to use a windows xp or higher...is that possible??? cheers and thanks for answering!

    yes, as long as it's plugged in. because then it starts eating at your battery power.

    your mp3 rates by using the regulated 5v on your USB bus. as long as you are able to cost your laptop wisely on 240v, the laptop USB will function identically and price and shipment your MP3 purely like interior the US.
