how do i advertise my ebay listings?

When you list an item on ebay I am pretty sure when you do a google search for that item it comes up it may be pages and pages down but at least its free.If you use different auction hostingt services u have your own store when the items are listed on ebay I use auctiva but i dont know how to drive the potential buyers there unless they are already on ebay
