First calculate the amount of caffeine (in mol):
58.9 x 10^-3 g Caffeine / 194.19 g/mol caffeine =
3.033 x 10^-4 mol caffeine
This is in 12 oz, need to convert to L.
12oz * 29.6mL/oz *(0.001L/mL) = 0.3552L
Concentration = mol/vol
Conc = 3.033 x 10^-4 / 0.3552L
Conc = 8.54 x 10^-4 M
The caffeine concentration is 8.54 x 10^-4 M
Hope this helps
