Why do convenient stores that are open 24/7?

have locks on the doors?

    We don't have stores that are open 24/7 here, so never really thought about it before....good question! :)

    maybe in case the power goes out, or they get robbed. they lock the doors to take evidence

    Probably due to some weird construction building code.
