Ok here is the scoop. The recruiter is trying to get an appointment with you, no harm no foul. If i am understanding you, you asked a question about schooling to him, then he started asking you other questions, right? Well a recruiters time is tight. He needs to make sure you would meet the min requirements for the Marines before he spends more time answering your questions. It sounds bad, but it is just like a civ job, if you are not qualified, the manager will tell you and dismiss you. My advise, answer the questions you feel comfortable with and talk to him on the phone. If you do not want to meet with him tell him so. He will, or should not call for another month or so. You never know, you may go back to him in a year. I had several high school grads do that.
