One possibility is Prosper, which is what is known as a P2P lending site. It's basically an auction site like Ebay, except people are bidding on loans. Bidders can bid as little as $50 towards a loan. You fill out a loan application, put up a description of your current income and expenses and what you want the money for, and the maximum rate you'll accept, and then people bid on your loan. There is no guarantee you will get a loan...a lot of requests don't get funded. I don't know what your credit report looks like now...delinquencies in the past will probably hurt you, and depending on your credit rating, the rates could be very high (depending on credit rating, as high as 29%). So it has its downsides, but it may be an option worth looking into.
