Which state is Salem supposedly located? Steve Johnson mentioned the Cubs in a recent episode. Is Salem somewhere in IL? I've also heard different references to the "mid-west" and O'hare. Where is Salem???

It is Illinois. This question was asked of Kristian Alfonso a few years back on Soap Talk and she revealed it is Illinois and that is why whenever they go to the Airport, it is the Chicago O hare.

They've never specified what state it takes place in...it's supposed to be a midwest state that is near or around Chicago....
