The word is "stent" not "stint".

I have two. It has been nearly 8 years. No problems, just get one that is bare metal. Closed? After 11 months? Dude, what's in your diet? Or did it collapse?

Usually CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting - commonly called Bypass) is resorted to when PTCA (Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty - commonly known as stenting) fails and not the other way round. When a person's own vein seems to have blocked in 11 months, the possibility of re occlusion of a stent (bare or drug eluting) cannot be ignored.

However, it is a matter for competent cardiologists to assess and advise.

Sounds like you need stents, a carefully managed, gradual exercise program, a very low fat diet, and lots of high antioxidant foods.

I have 6 stents and all are clear. Change your freakin' diet. Are you taking Lipitor?

sounds as though you are a candidate for several stints. need to check with a cardiovascular doctor though.
