Where does Ohio stand on gay marriage?

Geez, does anyone even live in Ohio on YAnswers? That is not the question. Answer the one before that.

Update:

I live in Ohio, and have a gay friend. I am an atheist, and straight.

Ohio does not recognize gay marriage. It doesn't recognize marriages (gay marriages, that is) outside of Ohio, even if it is legal and recognized. Ohio doesn't even recognize heterosexual common- law marriages. The only thing Ohio recognizes is a marriage between a man and a woman. Sad, but true.
