what custom firmware are you using?
well since you didnt answer, im going to assume you dont have a custom firmware.
1.5 sony firmware is the only version of stock firmware that gives you the ability to play games stored in the memory stick.
now, if you have a different version of firmware, 3.50 or below, it is possible to downgrade to 1.5 then put some custom firmware on...
(note, 1.5 firmware, is where you need to start when doing any custom firmware period. if you have 2.0 firmware, you must downgrade to 1.5 before you can upgrade)
i dont know what you know about firmware, but its basically the operating system the psp uses.
when you hear people talk about 3.40oeA firmware, it retains all the functions of the stock 3.40 firmware, but gives you the ability to change more things, and play games from the mem stick.
the newest one now is 3.51m33 it has all the functions of the 3.51 update, rss download guide, mp3 visualations, and a 4th level of brightness.. and the ability to play iso/cso games.
