Yes. Also, you said if a liberal WITNESSED a robbery. Then I guess we're supposed to assume we are a liberal and we are witnessing ourselves being robbed. That would make the witness a victim. I don't think I get your question. I already risked my life in Vietnam, btw.

It would be wrong if i call and there is no robbery at all, and put the life of that police in danger right? See the difference?
You support a war that was made out of false information and after knowing it you still want to send that cop to risk his life.

Yes, it's a cop's job to stop robberies. It's not a US soldier's job to stop an Iraqi civil war.
