To me camping rocks! There is nothing I'd rather do. However, I have been camping and backpacking since I was a baby. I know what to expect, what equipment to bring, and I don't mind getting dirty or roughing it. Most people who have not camped from early childhood hate it when they first try it as an adult. By then, I find it's too late for them to make the necessary mental adjustments. But, I suppose that is not always true.

Plus I have found that some people have very different ideas about what camping is all about. Some people see camping as a chance to sit around a fire, get really drunk or otherwise goofy, stay up late, sleep in, and then go home. Now, I can do that sometimes, if the situation calls for it. But usually, when I go camping it is for escapism and adventure. I like to include hiking, canoeing, swimming or other in my camping trips. This means I can't get goofy and I need my sleep when at camp.

Using the restroom in the woods doesn't bother me. In fact, the position is more natural. Find a tree to hold onto for balance and relax. :)

Yes it is fun It rocks if your the kind of person who likes relaxing and most work your might have to do is cut wood and pack. But if you go with others and you don't like it then don't wreck it for them then. also if where you are going has a washroom then don't dig a hole get on a bike and pedal.

For what to bring then I think that you should try to keep things short so that when you unpack and pack it goes good and fast. You should bring toiletries like toothbrush shampoo soap toothpaste comb and quaters if there is a shower there. wood an axe , lighter or matches paper kindling marshmallos bike flashlight book blanket sleeping bag tent

or tent trailer chairs music radio fishing poles and bait

(make sure it's fresh) rope for clothes line clothes bathing suit towels dishes pillows and a tarp if your are in a tent so you don't get dew in the tent

    hope I helped

If you are the outdoors type then you will love camping, it does carry resonsablity but completly worth it, really there is not much work to it unless you take friends or family. if you go to a campground you do not have to take a shovel do your business in the woods they have restrooms, but now if you are camping outside of a camp ground that would be very usefull. if you take friends or family it def. needs to be planned who will cook and who will clean up it needs to be shared so everyone has fun. if you are an outdoors person then you will be suprised at the beautiful scenery that you will come across.

Camping is fun but if all you are worried about is where to go to the bathroom then you may find other trips to be better suited for you.
