I have severe OCD, and am an Organizational and Cleaning Freak! I think most of us with OCD, are huh?
Like you, I too, would get fired, time and again, because my OCD behaviors were continually affecting my performance at work.....it's very hard, and can be limiting.
But, I choose to use the positive and productive qualities common to OCD, such as perfectionism, being overly organized, observant, being an expert list maker, writing, and helping others organize their lives.
Two perfect careers for people suffering from OCD may be -
1. A Cleaner (if you are a cleaning nut, like me!)
2. A Professional Organizer or Life Coach
3. A Detective
4. An Editor
I understand it may feel a little unfair at times, but choose to embrace the beneficial OCD behaviors, that set you apart from those without the disorder!!!
