Can't get your link to work, however :

The Titanic had two sister ships.

The Olympic had a number of collisions during its service but lasted until 1935 when it was scrapped.

The Britannic was closest in appearance to the Titanic and was lost in the Aegean when it struck a mine (or was torpedoed) in 1916.

The Titanic very definitely broke in half, although this was not confirmed until the wreck was rediscovered in 1985, as eye-witness accounts were contradictory. The stern section of the wreck lies some 1/2 mile away from the bow section, and the whole hull has actually broken into three parts. The debris field covers around a square mile, which also confirms that the ship broke up as it sank.
