Is Reggie Jackson more memorable as a Yankee or an Oakland Athletic?

He did play more years with the A's,

but he is in the Hall of Fame as a Yankee.

He's famous for being Mr. October.

    He's a Yankee.

Though the '72 Oakland A's were the greatest team ever!

Good question. I would say as a NY Yankee. Although, he did hit that mammoth home run in the 1971 All Star game as an Oakland Athletic.

  • Mr. October! The first time I really knew him by that name was as a Yankee so I would have to say, as a Yankee!

I wasn't old enough to really know much about him but the first poster I ever saw was him in a Yankees uniform.

I tend to think of Jackson as an Athletic, but there's no doubt he had the biggest highlight of his career in the brightest spotlight the game offers -- a World Series championship-winning game monster performance in Yankee Stadium. So I expect most fans think of his Yankee tenure first.

If you weren't alive to watch it -- and many of you were not -- you missed one hell of a show. Even if you hated the Yankees, this one earned a tip of the cap.

  • Definitely as a Yankee. And in response to B-rad, people shouldn't think of the Yankees when they think of Jackie Robinson - he played for the Brooklyn Dodgers.

He's most memorable as an Oriole.

I'm just kidding. Of course he's most memorable as a Yankee.
