Write them on a cover letter and as for your Involuntary Termination just say you were let go and try to talk about your strengths.

But what if they want to find out more ? Tell them the truth and try to keep it under 30 seconds. Do not mention names if possible just the what happened.

Source(s): My son is also facing the same dilemma where his ex-boss IS a jerk and is having a hard time getting a job with no referrals. If management at Sam's Club 6625 are really that bad then people will know as to why a lot of their employees quit. Sam's Club does have a reputation of having a high turn-over and so does their owner, Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart has a reputation of promoting people based mostly of profit and that is why they are not considered a great management based company. A lot of them quit to go elsewhere. Wal-Mart behavior will be their undoing and may go out of business like Robinsons-May, Broadway, Woolworth, and many more that fell from grace. Employees with an awful character do not stay employed most of the time. Keep applying and try to stay positive.
