Registry editing has been disabled by administrator, how do i re-enable it?

    Sign in as administrator, or talk the administrator into re-enabling it..

    This is the concept - your admin does not want people messing with the registry. He has done this either through Group Policy or at the local machine level. KEEP OUT!

    being in the support role at my company, this protects me from needing to "rescue" people from messing with a working system.

    talk to the admin and tell him what you need to do....they will help you out.
