    No.

What about marijuana—is it harmless? Some doctors have said that it is

David Powelson, M.D., formerly chief of psychiatry, Cowell Hospital, University of California, Berkeley, at one time advocated legalizing the use of marijuana. Later, after more evidence was available, he wrote: “I now believe that marijuana is the most dangerous drug we must contend with: 1. Its early use is beguiling. The user is given an illusion of feeling good; he cannot sense the deterioration of his mental and physiological processes. 2. Its continued use leads to delusional thinking. After one to three years of continuous use, the pathological forms of thinking begin to take over the thought process.”—Executive Health Report, October 1977, p. 8.

Dr. Robert L. DuPont, former director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse in the United States, who in the past was quoted as minimizing danger from marijuana, more recently stated: “The real issue is the health danger posed by this epidemic [of marijuana use by the younger generation], danger of at least two kinds. One is the effects of the intoxication, ranging from the hazardous impact on driving to caring less about everything. The other area is purely physical. Here the concerns range from the regular occurrence of chronic bronchitis among marijuana users to the very real possibilities of harmful hormonal effects, effects on the immune system and possibly even cancer.”—Montreal Gazette, March 22, 1979, p. 9.

Science Digest provided these details: “Regular marijuana puffing may, in the long run, widen the gaps between nerve endings in the brain that are necessary for such vital functions as memory, emotion and behavior. In order for nerves to perform their functions, they must communicate between themselves.” Then, commenting on the results of tests involving animals, the article continues: “The most marked effects occurred in the septal region, associated with emotions; the hippocampus, concerned with memory formation; and the amygdala, responsible for certain behavioral functions.”—March 1981, p. 104.

    Yes & no.

But it wouldn't be a comfortable thing for you to do, because of the Holy Spirit conviction. The Lord wants us to be overfilled with the Holy Spirit, rather than to be drunk with wine or high off marijuana.

So, when a Christian is getting into marijuana, Christian isn't dieing to flesh lusts. So? Christian isn't living life for Christ at the moment of indulgence. But the verse in 1 Jn, If we confess our sin, He (Jesus) is faithful & just to forgive us our sin & to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Now, this is a promise & it might be a difficult process. But a Christian has to confess this sin, or won't be able to go forth in the life for Christ.

We are called as Christians to be of Sober mind so as not to give the Devil a foot hold so ultimately it is between you and God but we are also called not to do anything that would cause a weaker brother to fall so I don't think its okay for a Christian to smoke Weed or use Alcohol

God is sinless pure and holy .1 Peter 1:16 " Because it is written, be ye holy; for I am holy ".If someone is born again , they are to be like God the best they can . Doing drugs , alcohol ,is not God glorifying. 1 Peter 5:8 . Also it is temptation .Lead us Not into temptation .Satan is leading you.

Just don't do it. It will steal your life and waist your money. If you want to through money away do it where it can do some good like giving it to a food bank. Buying Marijuana, Cigarettes or alcohol is just throwing your money away.

We shouldn't put anything before God. having said that, don't let the use of drugs stop you from learning more about God . at some point you will spiritually wake up and realize theres no need for drug use.Churches should welcome people that have problems not shun them. Is a hospital for well people?

Until you learn the truth concerning this and worship you can. Of course there is medical marijuana. This is something to think about.

well if you're a true Christian, you'd get rid of that filfthy habit and put Jesus first. If you still smoke marijuana, then you're putting an object from Earth before Jesus Christ, and you're replacing him with it.

Yes. Christians drink all the time. And Marijuana has been scientifically proven to be safer than alcohol. And not only that, it has medicinal properties.
