    There are 6 royal palaces and 4 other "royal grounds" in Hawaii. The monarchy ended there over 100 years ago, though.

    * ʻĀinahau, Home of Princess Victoria Kaʻiulani

    * Aliʻiōlani Hale, Originally designed as a Palace for Kamehameha V, although Kamehameha V later decided to convert the building into a government building during construction

    * Hanaiakamalama, Summer Palace of Queen Emma

    * Huliheʻe Palace, Palace of Princess Ruth

    * Keōua Hale, Palace of Princess Ruth

    * ʻIolani Palace, Palace of the Kalākaua Dynasty

    * Cathedral Church of Saint Andrew

    * Kawaiahaʻo Church

    * Royal Mausoleum

    * Washington Place

    There are none. The United States never had a Royal family.

    America was built on that fact that all men are created equal, dispelling royalty. Therefore, America is home to no royal palaces. If you're looking for a place to visit then there are large, historic estates, such as the Biltmore Esate in North Carolina.

    Where would you get an idea like that? No royal places here.

    I've seen more hotels, restaurants etc with the title 'Royal' in the 48 contiguous states than I could ever remember, let alone give details.

    Why are so many Americans obsessed with royalty? Is it a feeling of deprivation or the odd lure of the macabre?

  • There are no royal places in the US of A. The US of A is not worthy of such grandiose.
