Expanding Space?

Space is supposedly expanding continuously. Into what is it expanding, and what is on the other side?

    Space isn't expanding into anything, since the existance of space only applies to the universe created by the big bang. If there are other universes, they probably exist as additional dimensions beyond ours, not others just outside our universe, waiting for us to "collide" with them. Any universe "just outside" our universe is how far away, a billion lightyears? That's a non sequitur, since distance needs space to exist, which doesn't exist outside our universe.

    Space is, however, expanding with respect to itself.

    The universe is a quantum,finite entity.

    When the first space-time pulse came into existence they were both of minimum size and duration,quantum units that can't be divided or expanded.

    Each pulse cubed the result accelerating,and building density for one-thirty billionth of a second,till the radial velocity reached the speed of light an entity 2 cm in diameter.

    It expands into nothing,the speed of light prevents it from expanding to infinity.in no time at all.

    As matter emerged the density of the space diminished,and through the formation of galaxies space is processed to a minimum density and begins to go out of existence.

    space is expanding , faster and faster occupying the void beyond the universe. On the other side is nothing, we have no proof of anything else existing but void space.

    It's all still the universe. Think of it like this: you have a 20 ft by 20 ft living room. You and your kids play Scrabble in the middle, get done and go sit in chairs near the walls. The room (universe) didn't get any larger. No, I don't know what is outside your front door or where your poop goes when you flush..

    We maintain a constant size relative to our measure of distance. Individual galaxies everywhere are constant size relative to us. The large-scale foamy structure of great walls of galaxies (the cosmic foam), however, is expanding relative to our measure of distance. That's equivalent to saying that we, our measure of distance and all the galaxies are shrinking relative to the cosmic foam.

    In my own Fractal Foam Model of Universes, space is defined by the number of bubbles in the ether foam, which is a scaled down version of the cosmic foam. As our cosmic foam expands, its bubbles get bigger; their walls get stretched until they pop, turning two bubbles into one.

    Our ether foam is the cosmic foam of a sub-universe; and the sub-universe's cosmic foam is expanding just as ours is---but relative to its own ether. But the sub-universe runs in reverse time, relative to our time, so from our point of view the ether bubbles are un-popping, turning one bubble into two. That creates one additional bubble of space in our universe.

    Every second, in every cubic meter of our universe, about 10^50 ether bubbles un-pop. That creates about 10^-55 cubic meter of new space per second per cubic meter---the Hubble constant for volume in MKS units.

    Creating new space inside a planet or inside an electron doesn't stretch the planet or electron because they are moving thru the ether, and the ether is moving thru them. An electron moves thru the ether like the distortion that you see when moving a lens across a sheet of graph paper, but in 3D.

    Space is infinite. If it doubles in size, it is still just as infinite as before---neither more nor less. It only expands relative to the size of what's in it; and that includes meter sticks.

    space meaning the universe and its really unknown but its said that there could be a parallel universe or many or even infinte universes.
