Yes. If the sting is red, tender to the touch, feels warm, oozing fluid, or has a red line from the sting towards the center of the body, see a doctor IMMEDIATELY.

Wash the wound carefully and well. An over the counter treatment like neosporin is helpful.

This is nothing to mess around with. My husband nearly lost his leg after an insect bite.

You cant get a staff infection from the actual sting, but it can become infected afterwards by improper care of the bite area!

yes , we all have staff on are skin all the time, so anytime you get a brake in the skin it is possible for the staff to get into your blood. I would watch it carefully use antibiotic cream, and if you think it is a possibility tomorrow, GET help....you can die in days from staff, watch your fever, and puss around the sting.

Staph is a very common bacteria and can be found nearly everywhere including on your skin. Any break in the skin has the potential of exposing you to a staph infection.

Staph bacteria is pretty pervasive.... its everywhere.

A bee sting pierces the skin, so theoretically it may be possible for the bacteria to get in.

You can get a staph infection in any open wound if you come into contact with staph bacteria.
