Napoleon divided his armies; some stayed in Europe o conquer Britain; others went to Moscow, to take over Russia.

However, the Russian winter killed half of the French soldiers before they arrrived in Moscow; and the others died because the Muscavites burned their city when they saw the French approaching.

    France ended up losing.

    Oh, THAT War of 1812...

British soldiers burned the Capital building (I think); Frances Scott Key Wrote the national anthem after watching the British attack Fort McHenry; and the Americans won again!

There weren't many results from that war. No land changed hands. The British did stop impressing (kidnapping, really) American sailors. It made Andrew Jackson a hero and undoubtedly helped him to be elected President some years later. But, not much going on there, really.

Tecumseh was killed in batle, preventing the growth of a multi-tribe confederation that might have restrained or even prevented the expansion of the United States beyond the MIssissippi River.

Possibly the major effect of the entire conflict.
