what does it mean when a gecko shakes his head-vibrates it- is he angry?

Update:

no, there is no other male or other gecko in there. she usually crawls on my hand, but when I put my hand in her cage today she shook/vibrated her head

She still could've felt threatened upset angry all of those things probably just stressed. She could have saw her reflection in the glass of her cage and thought it was another lizard. They don't understand reflections and the concepts of glass. Its alright any other weird things start to happen and I would take her to the vet. But only if you are really worried, it never hurts to just have a checkup done.

Do you think he could be seeing his own reflection some how, that sounds like a territorial attitude you are describing, a show of dominance towards another male.
