2001 Dodge Stratus car ES help!!???
I have replaced the whole engine, fuel pump, wire harness, brand new coolant, oil, belts, fuses, sparks plugs, (pretty much everything that comes with a tune up). The car is starting, but as soon as you put it into gear, it stalls. The mechanic still doesn't know what else it could be. I have told them everything that went wrong when it broke down and how it was acting prior to it. It isn't the starter, we have eliminated that one. Does any one have any suggestions.
I have a 2.7 V6 engine.

Have them check the torque converter its what attaches the engine to the transmission

Sounds like a speed sensor or speed solenoid. Is the check engine light coming on?
