Reverend and minister are general generic terms for person in ministry such as a person in charge of a church group. Pastor is more personal term used by a congregation or group to imply He is a shepherd type of figure to a body of believers. Pastor is also a minister and a reverend but not all reverends and ministers are pastors.

Well for one thing the lord tells you to call No man Master, Father, Or reverend, for holy and reverend is his name. But their are examples of the lord sending forth ministers , and pastors into his vineyard to feed his flock, and he also speak about false prophets or today we call them pastors even ministers who are destroying the people with this false doctrine. When you see people with these titles that the lord told man not to be called by, then know that they are either a false prophet the lord speak about. Plain & Simple.

In Catholic and Protestant Churches, a pastor is the leader of a particular parochial church. A minister is a broader term that can include doorkeepers, cantors and so forth. It can also be the leader of the congregation. Reverand is not a title, it is an adjective. Someone would be referred to as the reverand Mr. Smith. It is the same as referring to the Pope of Rome as His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI, the Pope of Alexandria as His Holiness Pope Shenouda III. It tells that one is recognized in some form of ordination and usually within a denomination describes relative status.

    Peace and blessings!

They are all (generally) ordained clergymen. (The Reverend) is a TITLE. Like a judge is "The Honorable" So-and-so. Pastor is a biblical term from the Greek "Presbyteros". Minister is more of a description of WHAT a person does, rather than what he or she is. A Priest is a clergyman who offers Sacrifice - in my case - the Sacrifice of the Mass.
