Yeah, US made a lot in favor of rest of the world. During the past two centuries, the biggest part of the world has seen a great economic growth helped by US. Unfortunately, the one big exception is Africa. US never help Africa. Africa is held by extreme poverty, disease and high debts. This difference between Africa and the rest of the world is not primarily caused by exploitation by rich countries (although that has happened to some extent). The difference is not primarily caused by a transfer of wealth from one region to another. Instead, there is a general increase in the world's income and some parts have hardly been able to taken part in this increase. Technology has been the most important driving force between the structural growth in the rich parts of the world. In some parts the geographical, demographic, economical and political circunstances were so unfortunate that real grow has not come off the ground. US need have better eyes to the lost continent.

Excuse me Joe! who ask the USA to fight their wars? There a huge different. The USA was asked to Iraq were they? No they invaded it. And before someone say the first and second world war. Remember not all of Europe was either wars. I don't recall the Vietnamese asking the USA. Or the Iraqi.

since USA is one of the most wealthiest nations on earth, i don't believe that the world can stop relying on us. remember, there are problems out there and we need to be the ones who are the helping hands. think of the iraq war and what we need to do for the iraqis.

Trust me when I say the world has been paying ever since the U.S. became the unrivaled super power, with the most powerful war-machine ever built. The world is littered with our weaponry and our nation building. We are serious ionkers who are subsidized by greed and mother nature, and we've been pretty poor to our mother.

We said the same thing in the 30's, 40's etc up until now. The point is, and as was seen in WW 1, and history has proved time and time again, Isolationism does not work.

WTF? dude, the US hasnt done that much for the world, u'v only been the most powerful nation for the last 60 years, and will soon be taken over by china econimically, how has the US helped africa and south america? all you do is stamp your values over other people whether they want it or not, you think you know whats best for others, just because it works for you doesnt mean it works for everyone else

AMERICA DOES NOT FIGHT FOR ANY BODY. THEY ARE THE ONES INITIATING ALL THE WARS GOING ON AROUND THE WORLD BECAUSE THEY WANT ALL PARTS OF THE WORLD TO DO THINGS THE AMERICAN WAY OR NO WAY. AMERICA CREATED TERRORISM BY TRYING TO CHANGE THE WAY THOSE PEOPLE LIVE THEIR LIVES. WHY CAN'T THE WORLD BE WHAT GOD CREATED IT TO BE THAN AMERICA TRYING TO BE A SECOND GOD IN RECREATING IT FOR IT'S PERSONAL BENEFIT?

Countries must not rely on the US for aid but must rely on their resources through development so that it will not feel as a superpower.

Now here's a litmus test for "Conservatives"

A real conservative would be opposed to ANY Foriegn Aid.

Every time we help one side we make enemies on the other.

    Keep our money at home
