Where do they give you the HPV vaccine?

Is it one your arm or somewhere else?

    HPV vaccine is usually given in the arm, into a muscle. It's an important vaccination to get because it may prevent cervical cancer.

    Usually the arm is the easiest access, but anywhere they can get a good vein.

    All three are given in your upper arm, towards the back where the muscle and fat are.

    it is given intramuscularly, so veins do not play a factor. most nurses will ask if you prefer your arm or butt. the gluteus is a bigger muscle, so it hurts less there.
