Based on current electricity rates, how much does it cost to run a 60 watt light bulb for 24 hours?

details about the rate used and calculation methods would be great

    Electricity: .085 $/kW Hr

    60 W = .06 kW

    .06 x 24 x .0825 = $ 0.1224

    Most electricity suppliers use Units = KWh at about 3p a Unit (6c)

    60W * 24 / 1000 = 1.44 KWh = 4.32 pence = about 8.64 cents.

    (Electricity is CHEAP)
